What do you get when you cross 3 feet of 9 gauge steel wire with a bored toolmaker on a hot afternoon in the shop? Pik Nik candle holders!! Yes, I know it's not the way it's supposed to be written. It's the way I like to write it and that is that. Anyway, made a little coil, ground the other end into a spike. Presto! Candle holder. The biggest challenge of the thing was to make two that looked reasonably alike.
I was picking up stuff at the Home Depot minding my own business when for some unfathomable reason I happened to look at the reduced items they had on sale. There it was "glow in the dark" paint. Wow, I gotta have me some of that. The trouble started when I got home. "What the hell am I going to do with "glow in the dark" paint????" Well at least it was only two bucks. I took the pictures two weekends ago when kiddo came over to paint and guess what, make glow in the dark pet rocks. I'm not kidding she made glow in the dark pet rocks and apparently they glow like crazy. Now I've got to find me some stuff to do with the "glow in the dark" paint.
