This is what I had to show you yesterday.
If you go back a few posts on this blog you'll see I was working on a fly fishing reel. Thruth of it is the more I worked on it the less enthusiasm I had for it. It is quite derivative and not that interesting a design in the first place. Then looking on the web I found reels made by Ari T. Hart. The guy was making reels to my liking. So I took design elements from him and added some of my own and this is what I came up with. For the material fanatics the two supports and spool are aluminium, the bearings are phosphor bronze, the screws and bail are stainless steel. The rest (main shaft, transverse supports, foot, nut, handle, counter weight) are out of titanium because of light weight. Ha ha no, that's really not it, it's more because I had titanium on hand and it sounds cool saying something is made out of titanium.
