First off a little miss conception on my part. I was under the impression that this place where I work was out in some kind of tropical forest. Well, what a surprise. The mine is in a coulee between two high mountain plateaus. What you see in the picture is the view from my room on the site. Not quite a jungle eh! The vegetation is dense but somewhat scrubby. Some species exist here and nowhere else on the island or the world for that matter!It's a Land Rover Defender 110 with an extended cab and extra seating, turbo diesel.
