If you consider that this is the rosette over the mantle in my living room. And, that the overall "theme" is art deco. Which one would be more appropriate on the moldings surrounding the windows and doors?
These are just ideas. Think of it as a scratch pad. The moldings all around the room are 3 and 3/4 wide by 5/8 deep with a 1/8th chamfer on the edges showing. The moldings are the red lines in the drawing. The green model is a scaled down version of the rosette and to be honest I'm leaning towards that one. The corners are where I'm really not sure what to implement.
If you've got an opinion I'd like to hear it. If you've got ideas I'm even more interested.
